M15

M15 concentrates tens of thousands of stars into a sparkling core — compact, old, and impressive.
M15 is a very compact globular cluster in Pegasus — among the densest of its kind, with a strikingly bright center and a faint halo.
Despite the low altitude, the image shows the concentrated core against a fine mesh of field stars.
220 seconds total integration render the contrast between compact center and surroundings modest yet clear.
