IC2177

The Seagull Nebula IC 2177 spreads its wings as a wide hydrogen cloud across the winter sky.
IC 2177, often called the Seagull Nebula, is a large emission‑and‑reflection complex; young stars tint the gas red and shape it into broad arcs.
So close to the horizon, haze and layering weaken the red; many short exposures nevertheless tease structure out of the wide veils.
The 250 mm field at f/5 suits the sweeping form well.
