About this celestial object

NGC 6888 shows its curved emission arc in Cygnus more clearly with around 20 minutes of exposure.

Stellar-wind-driven shock waves shape the characteristic glowing crescent amid a densely starred field.

Despite a low altitude around 19°, the integration time helps capture the arc structure across the wide 250 mm field.

More depth can be drawn out with the longer nights.
