NGC7027

NGC 7027 shines as a tiny yet intense planetary nebula in Cygnus.
NGC 7027 is among the brighter, very small planetary nebulae; its high surface brightness makes it appear almost stellar at short focal lengths.
About 34 minutes of exposure at roughly 20° altitude suffice to separate its slightly softened glow from the surrounding stars.
At 250 mm and f/5 the detail scale remains minute, and the series of many short frames preserves sharpness.
