NGC7331

NGC 7331 appears as a fine spiral spindle in Pegasus, distant, small, and striking.
The spiral galaxy in Pegasus is a distant island of stars tens of millions of light-years away, often accompanied by fainter background galaxies.
So low above the horizon and in the wide 250 mm field it remains small, yet the sum of many short exposures brings out its elongated core and halo.
The quadruplet at f/5 holds the stars fine and stable, a prerequisite for setting galaxies of this angular size off against the star field.
