NGC6050

Two in a dance: NGC 6050 shows interaction in the Hercules Cluster, caught low over the horizon.
NGC 6050 is an interacting galaxy pair in the Hercules Galaxy Cluster; tidal forces distort the forms.
Low culmination and 61% humidity demanded ample exposure (5990 s) and a steady 250 mm f/5 setup to suggest the distortions.
Despite horizon damping, fine background galaxies emerge as gray granulation, a sign of the depth reached.
