NGC4651

The "umbrella" of NGC 4651 peeks over the horizon.
The Umbrella Galaxy is a spiral with an extremely faint tidal stream—a relic of a galactic encounter.
Near the horizon such delicate light easily drowns in haze; long series improve the signal‑to‑noise ratio and make the galaxy visible.
Just over 72 minutes total at 250 mm, f/5.
