NGC4535

The Lost Galaxy in the Virgo Cluster glows deep and wide—even just above the horizon.
NGC 4535 is an extended spiral in the Virgo Cluster, known as the Lost Galaxy for its low surface brightness.
At only 8.3° altitude and 70% humidity the view was demanding, yet at 250 mm on the 50‑mm quadruplet (f/5) its misty glow condenses into a finely drawn core region.
Forty sub‑exposures sum to 400 s—enough to suggest structure without overdriving the sky background.
