NGC2683

As a slender spindle, the 'UFO Galaxy' hovers just above the horizon.
This edge-on spiral displays a long, narrow dust disk—hence the 'UFO' moniker.
The low imaging altitude renders it delicate, yet the spindle stands out clearly against the star field.
At 250 mm it remains small, but the total integration brings structure into the thin ribbon of light.
