NGC2419

A remote globular cluster far out in the Galactic halo: NGC 2419.
This cluster is among the most remote globulars of the Milky Way and appears compact even in large telescopes.
Photographically, its granular core separates from the stellar background, betraying the immense star count.
414 exposures sum to about 69 minutes at 250 mm and F/5—enough for a fine grain.
