NGC2170

Delicate dust glow: NGC 2170 shimmers as a reflection nebula near Orion in the winter star field.
NGC 2170 is a fine reflection nebula where interstellar dust scatters the light of nearby stars—part of a dust‑rich region in Monoceros not far from Orion.
So low above the horizon, haze swallows the faint veils; many short frames nevertheless tease structure from the background.
Captured at 250 mm focal length and f/5—a wide field for the dusty surroundings.
