M1

The Crab Nebula M1 shows the shredded shell of a historic supernova — captured low above the horizon.
M1 is the Crab Nebula, the remnant of a supernova observed in AD 1054 in Taurus; a pulsar powers the filament‑rich cloud.
The multitude of short exposures stabilizes detail despite turbulence and low altitude.
Stacked from 681 sub‑exposures, fine filaments emerge against the stellar background.
