176 Iduna (A877 TB)

Briefly observed, yet clearly in motion: asteroid 176 Iduna.
Iduna resides in the main belt between Mars and Jupiter and shows as a faint, wandering point against the fixed-star background.
At 23.5° altitude and in humid air it crossed a star-rich field that the 250 mm wide field frames gracefully.
The short, dense sequence emphasizes the positional shift over minutes.
